There is 167 episodes and more manga. They just released more manga. And there is I believe 7 or 8 box sets and you are on around like episode 60 or 70. Watch episode 64, its a funny/good one.

There are 167 episodes, but the last episode is a bit of a cliffhanger. The anime was never finished but the story continues in the manga.

there are currently 167 episodes and 4 movies tht are seprate from the series. the 167th episode isn’t the last one. it seems to just end in mid air. there WILL be a new Season called the final act tht will end the series. THIS ISN’T A RUMOR! VIZ Media has acquired anime rights for Inuyasha The Final Act, which picks up where Inuyasha left off!

well there are 167 episodes total. four movies of inuyasha and another episode that just came out called ‘Black Tessaiga’ which dedicates Rumiko. they stop making inuyasha episodes for 4 years, so 167 isn’t suppose to be the end of the who inuyasha series…however rumiko finished off inuyasha series not so long ago. the last volume is 42.
it’s so disappointing that they stopped making inuyasha episodes…i’m a big fan of him anyways…
