@drewgood,
how about Powerpuff girls? it became popular that they made an anime series for this cartoon series — Powerpuff girls Z.
I think that it’s ok to write it in english, then there would be some translators that will translate it to their languages. So long as your manga have good stories, good characters, or good whatever-it-be, then the title wouldn’t matter much. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.
I think some people did their own manga and gave it to the onemanga.com site for everyone to read… i think it’s called [rec] or something like that. Maybe, you should popularize yourself first by giving some of your manga to sites like these.
I would try Deviantart.com at first–it is a website by artists, for artists, and a VERY good advertisement opportunity–for free! Also contact Tokyopop, which is made in Japan and has much Japanese manga. But it also is very open to foreign manga (i.e. Yonen Buzz, which is written by the German Christina Plaka.) Overall, it’s just a matter of sending it to everything you can and trying to get a bite, just like when trying to publish a book–only a little harder.
Well you have to get a program that makes its easier to make the Mangas. Although since we speak english our Mangas are technically comics. If you really want to break into the Japanese market you have to became a hit series online first and wait to be discovered.
I don’t know weather or not The Avatar series got into Japan but it was an american anime as far as I know. Althoguh technically it isn’t an anime cuz it wasn’t made in Japan >_>
